Question 1

Do I need to book?

Accepted Answer

It's not compulsory, but highly recommended: the place is small and at weekends both the terrace and the dining room fill up. Book right here on the website — it takes under a minute and we confirm right away.

Question 2

Do you have vegetarian and vegan options?

Accepted Answer

We'll be straight with you: we're a traditional Argentine taberna, and meat rules our menu. That said, we do have options: provoleta, salads, vegetarian caprese and cheese-and-onion empanadas, and the vegan carne criolla empanada made with textured soy. Even the alfajor for dessert is vegan. Every dish on the menu carries its icons.

Question 3

Do you take large groups?

Accepted Answer

Gladly. For parties of 9 or more, drop us a line in advance and we'll set up the long table. If there's a real crowd of you, we can suggest sharing dishes so you can try a bit of everything.

Question 4

Where are you and how do I get there?

Accepted Answer

At Calle Navas 14, Granada's tavern street, steps from Plaza del Carmen (City Hall). It's a pedestrian area: walking is easiest, and the Puerta Real public car parks are a few minutes away.

Question 5

I'm coeliac or have allergies — what should I do?

Accepted Answer

Tell us when booking or on arrival and we'll guide you dish by dish: the menu marks gluten, dairy, egg, celery and tree nuts, and we stock gluten-free beer. Our kitchen does handle flour, so we can't guarantee zero traces — we'll always tell you honestly.

Question 6

Do you have a terrace?

Accepted Answer

We do — as well as the dining room, there's a terrace right on Calle Navas. In good weather it's the first thing to fill up, so tell us when you book and we'll do our best to keep you a table outside.

Question 7

What days and hours are you open?

Accepted Answer

Thursday to Monday we open for lunch and dinner: 12:30–16:30 and 19:30–23:30. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, dinner only: 19:30–23:30.

Question 8

It's my first time — what should I order?

Accepted Answer

An opening that never fails: provoleta to share, a few hand-crimped empanadas and entraña skirt steak with chimichurri in the middle of the table. Chocotorta for pudding. And if you fancy a milanesa, the napolitana is the one that leaves the kitchen most.

Question 9

Do you serve Argentine wine by the glass?

Accepted Answer

Yes: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay from Mendoza, by the glass and by the bottle, alongside Spanish wines. There's also ice-cold Quilmes and Fernet Branca with Coca-Cola, as tradition demands.

Question 10

How much does it cost to eat at Abra Pampa?

Accepted Answer

The full menu with prices is on this site, VAT included: empanadas are €3.90 each, starters begin at €9.90, milanesas run from €18.90 to €24.90, and the entraña skirt steak with chimichurri and chips is €23.90 (€36 for the XL, meant for sharing). Wine by the glass starts at €3.20.

Question 11

Is the beef Argentine?

Accepted Answer

We work with selected Argentine and Spanish beef. The bife de chorizo sirloin is premium Angus entrecôte imported from Argentina; the entraña skirt steak and the chorizos criollos come off the grill with our homemade chimichurri. Every dish is described on the menu.
